Bitches on heat.

So,Skyla hates all other dogs (and animals full stop) with a passion.Will bark,growl and generally be rather 'nasty'.
Last night on our walk we encountered a dog sat right in the middle of the pavement,off lead. 'Oh Sh**e' thinks i, and closes my eyes thinking 'don't you bl***y dare make a show of me dog'.
We walk right up to this dog and Skyla stops....here's where i think life as i know it is over....and SNIFFS the other dog.Yes SNIFFS.I'm standing there thinking 'Wtf?!' when the owner strolls out shouting 'Get away from her,she's on heat!' Seriously.
Now #1...He's got a bitch wandering around on heat....i give up.
#2...even though Sky's been 'done' does she sense these things?
And #3....why didn't Sky 'go for' this dog? She 'goes' for EVERY dog she's met so far.Dogs confuse me

1.Really pi**es me off when people aren't considerate to other owners, and a bitch on heat certainly should not be off lead, but adding that a male intact also shouldn't be able just to wander either.

2&3 I really don't know, my first was 'done' before her first season and my second after, but niether has ever been dog aggresive. Sure someone will be along soon with more info. x

Bitches on heat give out a scent like no other and the nose far outways the aggression as far as another dog or lady dog they so want to sniff .
Its like having a spell put over the whole population and they are drawn to it

Haha a cure to dog aggression....some how get the scent of a bi*ch in heat and sneakily spray it on the back end of all dogs you meet daily which your dogs go for...I'm a genius lol but on a serious note agreed to above.

Harley has been fixed but he still sniffs Mia who hasn't been fixed and has humped her, hse also humps him which is as funny as can be to watch.
