Whats your thoughts on this game
Was going to wait till my pup has finished teething and use this game while still understanding he will be young pup still im guessing 6 months.
Things i would remember is not to set it to high and IF he did lose grip he would land on something soft
Does anyone here let there staff play tug this way.

Re: Whats your thoughts on this game
Its perfectly fine to let them play that only thing is, most people recommend you wait till they are ATLEAST one year/18months simply because they could damage their joints and possibly cause problems long term with hips and such. Not sure how often they have long term problems and im not saying you have to stop, just something to look into although im sure short periods of time at low height will be just fine! he looks like hes having lots of fun

Re: Whats your thoughts on this game
Definitely wait until at least a year old, and preferably 18 months before you set up anything like that. When you do, make sure that your dog can reach the tyre (or whatever) without his back legs leaving the ground - in fact his rear paws should be able to stand comfortably on the ground at all times.

Re: Whats your thoughts on this game
I use a bungy with Chiquito when we play tug and he loves it .. wears him out nicely
He also enjoys his ball and frisbee, however if he needs a good run around in the yard I tend to get his soccer ball out. Playing hide and seek with treats or favorite toys also works well to get him moving .... great way to practice commands while you are playing too
