Yeah they only do 6 per class I'd email and check availability good luck
Your vet might also run some classes, even if its just socialisation classes, we had our first on Tuesday there and it was amazing to see how well they all
Played together

Re: Applying for puppy classes
Puppy classes are great for some, not so good for others. It depends how much you already know.
But they are really good for socialisation!

Re: Applying for puppy classes
I want to take The Twins to puppy classes, but my husband doesn't see the point.
I do, as it will be down to me to do most the walking and our last dog and I got attacked quite a few times whilst we were out walking and it made him aggressive and me fearful, so with these two I want to do everything the correct way and for the sake a few pounds a week the chance for them to integrate with others and make friends and for me to learn the correct way of doing things is worth 50 x the price it will cost us.......

Re: Applying for puppy classes
Puppy classes are the highlight of Jax's week. He goes absolutely nuts to play with all the other puppies. His focus during the classes is terrible - too excited about meeting all the other puppies and people... haha, but at least we are learning some techniques and he is actually doing so well at home with them. Although, I'm sure the trainers think we never do our homework... since once we get to the class, Jax forgets all he's learned and is in permanent play mode.

Re: Applying for puppy classes
Had first proper puppy class last night (we've had puppy socialization for 2 weeks up till now but this was first training class).
Cooper was brilliant, mixed with the other dogs great, there was another staffy there which was nice (was worried it would be all poodles etc).
I really cant wait to get to next weeks class - some of it I knew through endless online searches but some I didn't and looking forward to what's next.
I would say though that other adults were very nervous of both the staffys though - it seemed very odd. Cooper was gentle and playful and they (the adults) weren't following the instructions about not giving treats until the pup calmed down etc - instead they were waving their hands about in excitement because cooper wanted to jump up and give kisses - they acted like he was a leper or something - what do they expect of a pup when they wave their hands about above his head???
I hadn't experienced it before last night but there you go!
ON the way out - a lady with a black poodle, well cooper wanted to play She yanked her dog away and I (quite angrily) said "don't you know pups want to play with each other - he's not being aggressive, your dogs tails wagging, mine is wagging, they are happy, " she said she didnt know if my dog was being aggressive or not - I told her she will have to let her dog play or it will be scared of other dogs but she picked him up and primped and preened off.
Nout as queer as folk.....
But regardless of other peoples opinions - I thought the class was great - so did Cooper and thats all that matters
