Coconuts Empty Coconuts

Post by julespercules Thu Jun 20 2013, 22:00

hello everyone,

cant remember if it was on this website or somewhere else where I read that coconuts were a fun past time for dogs. Well we got her one today and my husband drained the milk out. We gave it her and she played with it for a while and keeps going back to it. My husband is worried that it has a best before date. So can you lovely folk help out

Yeah they're fine, I give them to Zeus all the time and he has the same one for around a month or two with no problems. Great toy and cheap too!

I bought Herbie one on Thursday to try & can honestly say its the only thing other than a kong he's not been able to destroy, he loved it :0) my oh drained out the milk & we all had a bit even Herbie & the cats tried it. I would thoroughly recommend you buy one for your dog/s, cheap & cheerful & keeps them occupied & happy for ages xxx

It should be OK as a toy to chew, but try to remember that coconut is very high in fibre.
