Re: My Staff is getting skinner HELP
If he's suffering from a decrease in appetite or losing weight, it's quite possibly something to do with his health. When was the last time he was de-wormed?

To Eleanor Emm I don't recall he was a gift from my uncle, the vet said he was fine, he has a ear infection ATM could that be something to do with it?

Re: My Staff is getting skinner HELP
It's definitely possible, particularly if it's a bad infection and could be causing him pain or nausea. Does he have any medication for the ear infection?

Hopefully the ear infection will clear up then, and his appetite should go back to normal. You could try phoning your vet to describe the situation. They might be able to offer pain relief.

Re: My Staff is getting skinner HELP
What type of food are you feeding him ?? Is it a good quality food, as the better the quality the less you would need to feed.
Check when he was last wormed as teis may be a contributing factor to the probelm. Worming is usually administered every 3 months but depends on the brand and age of the dog.

Pedigree Chum isn't a very good quality food, are you able to get hold of anything else, maybe try Natures Diet range, they do quite a variety:

Re: My Staff is getting skinner HELP
How long has he had a lack of appetite? Is it only since he's had the ear infection?
If that's the reason, then once the medication kicks in his appetite may well increase again.
