Tennis balls Empty Tennis balls

Post by jshrew Fri May 31 2013, 23:40

We all know a tennis ball is not going to last so I do grab the doggy ones when they you get 4 for £1 etc knowing that Ledger likes to peel them and pull them apart. Well its his birthday today so to fill his present box I picked up a batch of the 39p balls from sports direct he had the first one this afternoon and it is still intact! he hasn't gone crazy for it but has certainly had a good go at trying to pierce it

The thing about tennis balls is to have a few around for distractions while you can get hold of one Laughing

we walk passed to tennis courts on ours walks, and there is sometimes the odd one lying around, as soon as its in her mouth it is squished, but she liked to carry it around for the rest of the walk then...

Zeus loves to destroy tennis balls too but if you want something that will last longer (much longer, I've had them for about six months now and they're still going strong), get the Chuck It Balls from Amazon.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/ChuckIt-Ultra-Balls-Classic-2-Pack/dp/B000F4AVPA

They are a bit dear but they will last, Zeus has had a right go at them for hours on end and can't destroy them

Ledger loves his chuck it balls just filled his birthday box with tennis balls for him to to destroy but they are still intact! And now go out on most walks he hasn't shown any interest in chewing them when we get hone and unlike the chuck its he will drop a tennis ball. Strange dog!

Sports direct sell proper tennis balls 39p each, my Herbie loves a tennis ball & so far hasn't split/broken/ripped them, he squashed them in his mouth & they seem to just go back x
