barking and crying
As u may have seen from my other post my two r really test in me at the mo.....one problem am unsure the best way to deal with is Leroys barking at Diesel...
He will bark at her if they'r playin and she jumps on the couch bcoz he knows they'r not allowed to play up there so he will just stand an bark at her. Which I totally understand, so I tell her to get down and him to be quiet,
But if Diesel has a toy and she's minding her own business chewing away he will stand and bark and bark at her.....Now I try to let them sort things out themselves but I have neighbours who moan so usually end up tell in him to shut up, find in him a toy or taking it off Diesel an putting it away....
What should I do? Every time Leroy will bark at her or sit and cry/howl and I can't let it go on, why doesn't he just go get his own?

Re: barking and crying
When he does it remove him from the room and wait until he is quiet. He will learn that barking means he gets removed from the playing.

Oh yeah, your the boss and dont ever let them forget that. how are they at meal times? do they try and nab each others food? you have to be seen as a provider and as much as they might not like it the taker away.
give the toy to one and play with the other and switch that about a few times they will soon learn who has play time with the toy and that there time will come soon. its a good thing to train as it will encourage obediance as well

Leroy will sometimes go to nab Diesel's food but she will usually leave him alone, or if she does go near he'll give her a growl and she'll back off. Diesel gets fed a lot less than Leroy (shes on a diet and hes trying to beef up) so she's always done before he finishes his to go looking for more! lol
Sometimes it looks like Diesel is the boss between the two of them, but then he will bully her more toys/treats.

Re: barking and crying
on the toy side of things, Leroy has a bad habit of if hes lying sleeping and Diesel wants to play i'll start playing with her and on hearing the noise Leroy will wake up and appear from no where and try grab the toy...but usually my hand in the process!! i always take the toy away say "no" and give it back to Diesel....
