ok first off I'm just wanting to gauge people thoughts on the subject.

my reason being "is it bad or good", "right or wrong", "possible health problems".

I only ask because my partner keeps showing me pictures of HUGE staffs and just by looking at them it's obvious that they have been pumped up. I have looked at a few brands just to get some info but not for intended use, but mearly to educate myself further.

the brands I have read about are BullyMax, King K9, CPNE and BuffK9. they all semm to rave about the so called benefits for body, coat, joints and general life.

have any of you used such things or ever contemplated such things?

this is only a thread so I can gauge people thoughts on this, as I'm only trying to educate myself.
so please no witch hunt Sad

Never used them, myself, nor would I, so can't give my opinion on them, really. I probably wouldn't agree with them, personally, but have never heard of them.

A dog's muscular development depends on his genes, exercise and food. Supplements will only do anything if they are steroid based & I'm sure you wouldn't want to go down that route!

The people who use these supplements are also the same people who end up with seriously aggressive dogs that attack people and have to be shot 12 times to kill them.
