Taken today, one day off Molly's first birthday.
About two weeks ago, a woman asked firstly what breed was she......
Then proceeded to inform us that she'd never seen a Staffie that small...

She's gorgeous. Why how small is she?

Least measured, she was 20kg, 18 inches high, 20 inch waist and a 25 inch chest. We think the woman was implying she was thin.... My boyfriend was actually kinda offended lol

She looks perfect to me! BYB's are breeding staffs so blo**y huge these days that most people wouldnt no a standard sized one if it bite them in the bum! She is actually on the biger size for the standard anyway! And defo not to thin.....what are these people on! lol The amount of fat staffys i see about is apauling! As long as shes got a nice shiney coat which she has, and u can easily feel her ribs but not she them then she is fine and she looks in perfect shape to me! x

She's a simular size to Blue. She's in great shape

Well said, I always get asked whether I feed my dog or not, I can only reply with 'thats what a Staff should look like', really gets on my nerves, she eats better than me!!

Thank you all, I was pretty shocked to be honest, as far as we're concerned, she's huge. My boyfriends family bred staffies and all of them say she's a big girl.

My thought when I saw the photo was how nice and muscular she looked. My guy is 6 months and I am new to the breed. I thought most males were around 40 lbs and the females smaller. Is this not typical?

She's certainly a big girl! And she doesn't look at all thin to me, just fit & muscular - just as a stafford should!

The last one is from today, the scabs come off, I accuse the OH of picking it off, but he swears it wasn't him!

18 inches you say ??where to measuring from and to ??looks a little shorter to me,but very nice dog slightly terrier biased head as some do have as apposed to the much more bully type which seem to be in vogue ><

18 inches to her withers, she's lost half a kilo since then, though.
Aye, I've noticed she's got a more terrier head, it's not as wide as most staffs, but I have noticed it seems to be a bit wider now, it also depends on how you look at her, and whether her huge bat ears are back or not

she got big shoulders like my bitch ,but would say she look more like 16 inch than 18 tbh

No, she's been measure 2-3 times and each time it's 18 inches
