Stomach pains?
Hello,
Our boy (who actually turned 1 today) had an upset stomach earlier in the week with bad runs!
After a little research and asking around, I realized I hadn't had him (or his sister) de-wormed since August last year....so I went to the vet and got de-worming tablets for both of them.
He has since gotten much better and is back to normal, however his sister has since taken a turn for the worse and is tiptoeing around with tail between legs (looking very uncomfortable) and also has the runs?!
NOTE:: she has been spayed, so is definitely not pregnant
I got her some intestinal wet food (which she gobbled down) and proceeded even to eat some of her brothers pellets...so appetite is not an issue...just that she looks very uncomfortable in the stomach area and is even struggling to climb on to the couch?
Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?

Re: Stomach pains?
Is her stomach bloated & hard?
If so, then a trip to the vets would be best. If not, then some Kaogel might help to calm any cramps she's feeling. Plus you could put a couple of tablespoons of live natural yoghurt (full fat & full sugar) on her food each day for a week & see if that helps.

Hi - her stomach is not swollen at all?
She has not moved from her bed in 2 hours and I have just picked her up to see her movement and her entire back is arched up (like a cat) when she tries to walk?
I have now given her a rimadyl...and if this persists, will take her to the vet...not sure it can wait until the morning?

Re: Stomach pains?
Trip to vet IMO. It's been known for pooches to suffer with irritable bowel. It's worth checking out. Maby puttin her on a hypoallergenic diet to

Hello all - apologies for delayed feedback...she is 100% now, VET said she must have eaten something funny, so was on a 3 day course of anti-biotics and she's back to her crazy self
