Re: Are staffies spotty?
That seems to be a cross with another dog.
Seeing in that picture looks like your dog has a big tail staffordshire bull terriers have quite small tails.
But sometimes staffordshire bull terriers can be spotty underneath the fur.

No, it's just good, strong pigment! A lot of staffords with large white areas have black pigment spots on their skin!

Re: Are staffies spotty?
Some staffies are just leggier than others; being a rescue there's no way to tell 100% but he looks like a staff to me, I wouldn't say he's crossed with anything either! Either way he's a gorgeous lad It's probably just his pigment making him super spotty

Re: Are staffies spotty?
all i know is RSPCA took him off the previous owners, they say they ran out of room, they had a 6m babya nd a 5 yr old, they tied him up in a public place, muzzled so anything could have happened to him, a collar was too tight on him so now he had a permanent bald patch where his collar sits, bless him, he is happy now though, snoring his head off

Re: Are staffies spotty?
Dalmations don't have those kinds of spots, I've seen Staffs with that before, and some do have longer legs than others

Re: Are staffies spotty?
Years ago my oh's nephew bought a white Stafford pup. When he got to about 3 months old he started to get dark spots on his skin all over his body! In the end he looked just like yours, but without the black patches!
