Dog training :)
Hello, I've mentioned before I might start a course to be a dog trainer and today I had a meeting to discuss what courses I want to do and what not, and there's a course only for people who wish to only work with dogs (like myself as I don't really want to be doing animal care), this course is all online and at the end of the course I get my diploma and if I've passed the course I can then go to their instructors and teach their class if then they pass me I get another diploma saying that I can be an instructor myself and have my own class the whole course costs nearly £200 pounds without the travel at the end to meet the instructor pretty excited as job centre is helping me paying for the course and I should start very soon

Do you have the details of the course, I may well be interested in doing that myself.

Ys it's all online, http://www.dogtraining-online.co.uk/ is the website, all the information is there you pay £195 do the 6 courses and if you pass you get your diploma etc, or if you just want to do one course to learn just one thing you can, the first costs £25 and the rest £35 I thinkKathy wrote:Do you have the details of the course, I may well be interested in doing that myself.
I should be starting soon, maybe this will even be good to then train Dragon even better to be friendly and as well I will know a lot more people with friendly and calm dogs who I can induce to Dragon and stuff like that you also get access to a special forum where only students and trainers can access to discuss your opinions or if you have any questions

That sounds fantastic Joe, and if the Job Centre is going to help you out with costs that is even better - you must have impressed them with your commitment.
I wish you all the best of good fortune in pursuing your dream - go for it!
Do let us know how you progress. ><

They sure are impressed with how keen I am to start the lady that meets with me had to ring this had person today and all she said was how I always show up to my appointments, how I am so keen and been showing so much interested in starting and so on
I can't wait to get started and see what I could be doing wrong with Dragon, although he's improved with his dog aggression he's still very bad, every time I think he's on the right away he does something else, but maybe I am doing something that's making him aggressive and I know that one day he will be ok with dogs, he's such a lovely dog with people and so calm never jumps around or anything he's very very laid back, just can't wait to help some people once I know what I am doing and some doggies as well
