Wow! I can feel the puppies in Ruby!

Sat with Ruby dozing on my lap. I had my arms round her (to stop her rolling off as much as anything!) and my hands were on her tummy (which is now getting pretty big!) Then, I suddenly realised I could feel the puppies inside her! Called the hubby straight through for a feel too! Amazing! I was so excited. Can't wait to see them. Only 1 week to go! Eeek!

Wow how exciting.

Ridiculously excited! It suddenly seemed so real last night when I felt them! I do wonder what an earth Ashton must think when thye are cuddles up and suddenly her belly moves! lol.

With regards to the US, we had her booked in at our local vets (companion care, I know your Northampton too so thought you might know them! We see Pavlou). However, they called the day before and siad the US was broken, and they wasnt sure when it would be fixed. I said we'd go in anyway so Pavlou could see her.

He gave her a good check over, and I asked if we should go elsewhere for the scan, or if theirs would be fixed soon, and he said, as she was all healthy, and the scans can't tell you too accuretly how many pups she is having, unless we particularly really wanted one, he wouldnt worry. So we didnt. Part of the surprise next week!

A pup with Ruby's looks and Ashton's attitude would be a perfect showdog, can't wait to meet all the little lasses and fellas and get to know them!

Think I'd be a nervous wreck by now

Nervous and excited, reminds me a bit of how I felt before my wedding! lol. But we are well prepared, have the vet on standby, have bottles and bottles of iodine, latex gloves, towels, camera charged... you name it!
