Dog Lips!
Sometimes when I wake Ebony up by being too loud, or clearing up her toys she'll look at me with her ears back and her "lips" showing" They're so shiny Does anyone elses dog lips show?

Re: Dog Lips!
Bless him! Whenever I see your avatar I do always take a minute or two to admire him Eb is pretty darn wrinkley too though, she looks like a goblin half the time when she's just woken up!

Re: Dog Lips!
Loki's done this a few times I think. Sometimes it's a happy face, sometimes he starts wimpering because he wants to play and no-one's playing

Yeah, Dempsey has that as well. I call it his little pout. It's fun to poke.

Sometimes when Lily is lying on her back with her head hanging backwards off the sofa her top lips go sort of baggy looking with her being upside down

Upper Canines - Lower Lips
Hi. Just joined as hoping to hear from others who have experienced same problem. Our five year old Blue girl has irritation and bleeding of her lower lips caused by upper canines. Happens mainly when she is chewing on a hard toy or a stick when out. Vet says canines are on wrong side of lips / may need surgery to correct. Whilst not ideal that we keep finding spots of blood on blankets, it’s not all the time, doesn’t appear infected or to be bothering her. Not keen on going down surgery route. Grateful for anyone’s thoughts on this. Keith

Re: Dog Lips!
Hi from me & Katy Welcome to our forum to you & your blue girl, what is her name?
What does the vet mean re her teeth being on the wrong side of her lip? If the bleeding only happens when she's chewing a hard toy or stick I would think she's cutting her lip on them! Can you get a pic of her teeth for us to see?
