teeth brushing
so i just brushed romeo's teeth. normally i use a mix of warm water and salt to do the job, he hates it.
so i went i brought a right doogy tooth brush and a finger brush incase that didnt work. chicken flavoured tooth paste too.... well... any one would hink i was trying to kill him the way he struggled... that or put chillies in his mouth. he wanted the tooth paste, it must have tasted good... but he didnt want the ordeal that went with it the little bugger, so... 20 mins latter... romeo's teeth have been cleaned. i hope this helps with his KILLER breath!

Re: teeth brushing
Put the toothpaste on the brush and set the brush on the ground in front of him so he can see it isn't going to do anything, then if need be put a bit of paste on your fingertip and rub it in. Then just sit down and wait until he comes over to you and do it for a few seconds then stop. Then try it again.
Logan hated his being done at the start but he got there in the end.

romeo cant handle raw food... it makes him really sick
he REALLY wants the paste, he's just against the brush. she donesnt run away, he just shakes his head everywhere
Re: teeth brushing
Loki's the same, his head moves everywhere and in the end we've gotten nowhere at all I'm hoping chewing his StagBar makes up for the lack of ability to brush his teeth much. Hope it gets easier for you though

Re: teeth brushing
I brush my girls teeth too! I brought this doggy tooth brush and it's doubled sided! Her tooth paste is "Vanilla" flavor, doesn't smell too Vanilla-ish but hey ho she seems to like it! It's some kind natural dog tooth paste, and she gets excited when I say I'm going to brush her teeth Sometimes she'll sit down nicely in front of me and let me brush her teeth really nicely, other times she's like I JUST WANT THE TREATS AFTER! So she's kinda restless so I just make her sit on the couch and tell her to lay down so I can brush both sides while she's just chilling out

When Dempsey was raw fed he didn't need his teeth brushed - now I have to remember to brush them, but I haven't got into a routine yet.

Could you not try putting it on your finger to brush his teeth then gradually bring the toothbrush into it ?
