Feeding ideas?
I just got a 4yr old staff/lab cross from the RSPCA last week. What is it best to feed him on? Dry food or canned? Also, how much? He's slightly windy at the moment hehe.

Re: Feeding ideas?
What ever you decide to switch him to, make sure it's gradual to avoid upsets to his digestive tract. I'm sure people will be able to advise you on which foods they think is best.

Re: Feeding ideas?
If ur feeding a dry food, then go for a hypoallergenic food.
Brands like: Wainwrights, James wellbeloved, Eden.

Re: Feeding ideas?
I agree totally with Jackie
I feed James Wellbeloved but if you go for something hypoallergenic and grain free if possible you will be on the right track

My old girl is on Eden, as raw doesn't agree with her!

Re: Feeding ideas?
Well my mum did try him on canned food, which I told her wouldn't be good. So I bought a bag of Burns to see how he'd take to it. It's day 1 today, so won't know yet - will let you know. Have kept some of his old food in with it but will make it slightly less each day until its just Burns in his dish.

Re: Feeding ideas?
Every food I tried with Blue made him produce green clouds From the day I changed to raw feeding that stopped. Every so often he will have a day where we farts for England but thats only when the sneeky sod has found a bit of cat food
Let us know how he gets on....Good luck and a massive well done for the rescue
