sore patches
I have posted about this before a while ago. sky has very sore patches under her armpits i assume from walking. i dont even walk her excessivly just a daily stroll. I used to think ir was her harness but this harness doesnt go under her arms. Is there any creams we could use to ease the soreness?

Re: sore patches
Apple cider vinegar is excellent for their skin, just add a drop to her food. I was recommended it on here a while back and it's great.
Logan is having a bit of bother with dry skin at the moment because of the weather and I was recommended earlier to try coconut oil, which I'm going to do tomorrow. It can be added to their food or used topically on the skin. That might help too

Re: sore patches
in the short term anything thats good for babies is usually okay and make sure its not perfumed. you could also try a zinc suppliment for a while and see if that helps as she may need more than most compleate foods contain (which isnt alot). I have to suppliment both mine as they are prone to zinc responsive dermatisis and use Vetzyme B plus E with zinc and selenium

Re: sore patches
It's maybe worth going to the vets and seeing if they'll do a skin scrape to test the area.

Re: sore patches
Steff had similar to that... We got Malaseb shampoo to wash the area and then Ilium cream worked very well.. Dont know if you have these over there though..

Re: sore patches
I normally use Coconut oil, Apple Cider Vinegar or Sudocrem for sores, but I had the same problem with Zeus last year.
His old harness chafed on his armpits pretty bad, by the time we realised, it got to a pretty bad point and looked very painful.
The only cream that sorted it out (and pretty quickly) was Fuciderm which we picked up from the vets. It's a pretty strong steroid cream so I only use it as a last resort and if its most necessary.
