is it ok for a 8 month old pup to eat a little bit of boiled rice with her dry food to help fill her?

Re: boiled rice??
It's OK. Boiled rice and chicken is usually given to dogs with upset stomachs.

Perfectly fine but I wouldn't recommend using it regularly to fill her up on. Let her good quality doggie food do that!

I would agree, unless she has an upset tummy or a little off then i would stick to her normal dog food. Did you manage to change her food?

Re: boiled rice??
Boiled rice is a very good complex carb, and very easily digested ... but why the need ?

Re: boiled rice??
The only reason I give boiled rice is as stated above, for an upset stomach/diarrhoea, etc.
If you want to fill her, you should just stick to a decent dry food. If anything, add different toppings to the dry food like I do, one day I'll add some tuna on top, another day raw egg (with shell), the next day some dry chicken, etc.
