whats everyone doing today?

its not very sunny here today but its dry so its saturday and that means 2 hours at the beach for woody.

he's not going off the lead today after last weeks disaster! he wouldnt come back when called (chasing darn birds again) and when i tried to grab him his collar came away in my hands.................left with one staff running round practically naked! woody sees a new game.................him run close to me,i try to grab him by a leg, him run away again with a naughty glint in his eye. One rugby tackle later (or should i say 4 failed attempts and one successful) woody is in a headlock whilst i try to re-fit his collar, on a squirming woody, with one hand! oh the fun we had!

What a handsome little devil! Kizzy is a bird chaser too, especially rooks for some reason. I can't wait till I'm confident enough with her to let her have a good charge about on a beach, although a lot of the beaches down my way don't allow dogs on them.

We've been for a walk in the woods today but it was a bit tense and stressful. Kizzy has suddenly gone from being overly submissive to being a bit of a grump to dogs (mostly males) I'm hoping this is just because she's at the end of her season as I've been assured she loves other dogs as a rule. I think we're off for another stroll in a bit, making the most of the dry weather.

Looks like hes having fun, so lucky to live near a beach but do have a very large garden and there is the park that is maybe 20 minutes in a car can't wait lol

believe me i'm only confident letting him off when no one else is about,not everyone understands his overly friendly nature - hence why we were there at 9am!!
