Whats going on? Empty Whats going on?

Post by wimpy Wed Jan 30 2013, 15:18

Took Alfie into our local town today for a bit of socialising today, it was kind of early so that it would not be really busy. We sat our self's at the top of the market square where I knew there would be a nice flow of people and he could sit there and watch the world go by. All I can say is it was fantastic. We had loads of people stop and make a fuss of him and ask questions. Had the what I now call normal "he's not going to be vicious is he" comments which I replied no its the owners that make them that way. Anyway after a nice cross section of people including children and people in wheelchairs and scooters a small crowd started to gather which did not faze him in the slightest. All of a sudden a voice was heard from the back saying "what's going on here then"? We had attracted the attention of the local PCSO's who made there way to the front of the small gathering to fine Alfie sitting on my lap loving all the attention. So what do you think happened next? Well the male PCSO who was a bit of a nasty looking guy came out with oh my good ain't he lovely. I almost wet my self Laughing
So I think we both really enjoyed our hour in town and he slept all the way home in the car. Next outing is to puppy classes next week.

It really is great to get them to experience hussle and bussle, I make a point of walking Moo down the high street so she is used to everything.

Alfie has done you proud, what a star Smile

That is one thing we have never done with Rocky, walk down our high street. Sadly it's not the kind of place anyone would want to spend any amount of time. We hardly ever go there anymore the place is so dead.

It sounds like a great idea though for socialising your dog, bet you get to meet a cross section of members of the public.

Aylesbury defo has a cross selection on people walking around the town. Even the 2 drunks shouting at each other did not faze him lol even though it was only 9:30am.
