My mum gave blood regularly and a few yrs back she came out and immediatly had a ciggy and then fainted at the bus stop :0
they warned her not to get up too soon or smoke too soon afterwards but she thought she knew better

the first time i went shop straight away half around i went light headed i had to sit down

Most of the appopintments around here tend to be on mondays & wednesdays - both of which I work! Hopefully there'll be some on a tuesday or thursday.

Something I have been interested in for many years to be honest and never got round to it, as I thought they would not want my blood as I smoked weed.

Something I definitely need to look into in my area to see when I can do it.

you have to stop 2/3 weeks before you give blood then you can smoke it again

i have gave blood 7 time now i could of save 7 people

now men can donate 4 time a year i should my bronze award this year

well done steve deff going to look into it as i think i should do it only thing is i got the negative blood!

Good for you Steve, i've been giving blood for 23 yrs about 40 pints so far i think! 1 pint can save more than 1 person depending on how they use it. Keep up the good work
