another balding dog...
I noticed there are a few other topics at the moment about it this but most of the advice seemed to involve stuff i alresady do
, Diesel seems to be loosing an awful lot of hair on her sides and her coat is looking really dried out and dull, which is unusual coz its usually really shiny and glossy, also she seems to have quite bad dandruff.
She is on a raw diet and has been for months, she gets Salmon oil in her food a few times a week plus sardines and also raw egg with shell. I've tried combing her to try and clear out some of her dead coat but think am not using the best kind of comb for her coat? any suggestions on grooming to help?
I dont think its an allergic reaction as ive not changed any food, treats or cleaning products lately in the house.

Re: another balding dog...
We use this kind of brush on Rocky (not this one exactly though we got it elsewhere) and give him a good brush at least once a week to get rid of any loose hair. It could be down to the time of year as I've seen many dogs coats as you mention, central heating doesn't help any either.

Re: another balding dog...
hey sorry its took so long for me to get back on to say CHEERS for the advice!
Got a cheapy wee brush like the one above and it worked wonders! Took her for a well needed bath and a good brush, totally blocked the drain with the amount that came off her!
Her coat seems a lot better and shes randomly shedding less!
