Ernie. Old Gentleman looking for retirement home
Ernie is a sweet old boy that is looking for a retirement home with a family that can provide him with lots of love and cuddles. His new family will need to be home for the majority of the day initially to help settle him in. Ernie could possibly live with another dog but it would very much depend on how they got on. He can also live with a bold cat that is use to being around dogs. Other small animals should be fine as long as they are kept in secure enclosures. Although Ernie is an old man we do recommend regular training classes, because we are sure that you can teach this old man new tricks! In the right home Ernie will a lovely dog to have around.
My opinion. Ernie barks a lot for attention, he is such a character ad provides endless amusement with his old man ways. I think if it is raining, he is quite happy to stay indoors! He would make a wonderful pal for another old man or woman who wants to talk about the old days!

Re: Ernie. Old Gentleman looking for retirement home
The potential adopters decided he was too old.
So if anyone know an old bloke who wants a companion to moan about how it was better in the old days, kids today got no respect, and how you used to be able to leave your back door unlocked, if he wears a flat cap even better, cos this is how I imagine Ernie would be in human form.

Re: Ernie. Old Gentleman looking for retirement home
Ernie has been adopted!!!!
The news is
Settling in time…………about 10minutes
The sofa is now his day bed
He's has an lovely nighttime sleeping arrangement………. a cozy bed on the floor next to his new owner Thelma
Eating regime …………he knows exactly where the food cupboard is and barks at it when it's mealtime
