biting during play
can anyone suggest a spray or something to spray dylans back and neck with as we noticed he has a few scabs on his back where miley has bitten him while playing. They are looking bad all the bald bits where his fur has fallen out. Getting quite worried now

Re: biting during play
I can't think of any spray to put on it, my two constantly bite each other in play but their fur has never fallen out in the spots?

Re: biting during play
when they play miley is actually puncturing his skin then a scab forms and then his fur falls out where the scab has been. The spray im talking about is to stop her biting him

Re: biting during play
My two do end up with war wounds where they've punctured the skin but the fur still doesn't fall out.
The only thing i can think of to stop 'chewing and biting' is that bitter apple spray but that's obviously for furniture and that.
I think it might be more of stopping her getting over excited and biting so much, i would stop play when she starts biting and get them to do something else

yes we are doing that at the moment but she is sneaky and when we both leave the room etc we are now starting to take dylan upstairs when we have a shower etc so they are not left alone together. A spray for his back and fur would be good though

Re: biting during play
Bitter Apple can be sprayed onto fur as long as there are no open wounds there. Otherwise some clove oil might do the trick?
