Another Canny Collar convert

So just purchased mine today locally as my online order never turned up. And I have to say I'm massively impressed , just seeing the difference with a few steps around the shop and out to the car and back and in PAH I was already a convert. He didnt like the loop on his nose but nothing a few treats wouldn't sort out . Been out for a decent walk now with the daughter and OH and it's got votes from all 3 of us.

Only problem we had was when I was demonstrating it in the house , Tilly who is normally the shy one in the house > > instantly recognised that whilst being held correctly Tommy's jaw was that little more restricted so decided to go in for a couple of front legs and an ear , and she was smiling whilst she was doing it , well watch out girl because you're next

That's very good as long as it doesn't go up with size Tommy is a size 4 and I paid £17.95 , but TBH I could get it off the internet for £15 but the canny collar website let me down and I wanted it now so didn't mind paying

Most definitely Caryll Jen came back from her walk with mum beaming as it was so easy and she knows she won't get her ear bent from me for not concentrating on the loose lead, I know technically it's cheating but if the lead stuff is easier it is so much better to chill out and focus on the other stuff

It isn't cheating at all - whatever works (within reason)!

We have a Canny Collar for Rocky too and it has helped loads with his pulling on the lead. Much better behaved with it walks are now a pleasure.

Would you say a size 4 is right for a small staffy? Or a 3 as Lola is a girl and she has a smaller head?

It depends on neck size at the top of the neck just behind the ears Tommy is 15" at this point . It has to be snug or it won't work. Size 4 is 15-17" and his collar fits nicely on the first hole so the sizes are good
