A VERY positive day for Alfie
Well. What a day. He has played with his ball with me for the first time today in the house, running after it and playing fetch! He then had a bath and was extremely good! Didnt try to jump out once. He has also been learning to sit! He has picked this up very quickly!
I bought him an extendable lead and we have just been to the park and he loved it! Running around chasing sticks i have never seen him like that before! He was that excited running and playing he fell over and did a roly poly i also practiced his recall for the first time and he came to me EVERY time
Very proud mummy today!!

Re: A VERY positive day for Alfie
Sounds like you are making some progress there already, try to be consistent and patient with the training, you will get there. You could reward the good behaviour with a small treat.

Re: A VERY positive day for Alfie
Yay really glad to hear Alfie's done so well today, and as you can see, he's a clever, fast learner. Keep it up both of you, well done

Re: A VERY positive day for Alfie
Jeez that's a lot of progress in a short time. I got myself an extending lead today too, it's absolutely great. Logan is shattered after it and had a great play with my gf's dog.
Keep it up and you'll be sorted in no time.

Re: A VERY positive day for Alfie
they learn very fast as soon as he learns a new trick knock off the treats but go back to them if he misbehaves. An extendable lead is good for practicing recall too
