positive reactions to Lola

took Lola for a big walk today, and wandered the four miles to the local town. typical busy saturday, and i was stopped by half a dozen people commenting on how well behaved she was, how "she reminds me of our old one" and even one person commenting on her excellent temprement

also, the usual comments you hear after people walk past (they shouldnt be out on the street) were gone, just lots of "did you see how cute that was" and "aww, thats gorgeous"

Lola behaved impeccably, and even allowed a miniture shi tzu to sniff her and get up close (little dogs have sometimes been an issue)

and i topped the day off with her first ride on a train, better than in the car, but the confused look on her face was priceless


all in all, a really good day out for her today. and she's comatose on my bed
