just woundering if people recommend taking there puppies/dogs to puppy preschool

theres a puppy preschool class starting nxt week, just woundering if there worth going to or can u train them just as good without goin to one of those?

I would jump at any chance to get your puppy out and about. For me, classes are more about socialisation than actual training, as I had most of mine in place before we started.

Remember, the more experiences your puppy has, the better adjusted he is likely to be. So, getting out and about with other people and dogs can only be a good thing.

Puppy pre school is great Big Grin Not so much for the training but the socializing with other puppies is invaluable, especially as we have to wait so long in Oz to have all vacs done.. I would definitely consider taking him Big Grin

If it is the "puppy party" sort of preschool, where the puppies can be off lead and play with each other, then yes, for the socialisation which is so important. That is what I wanted for my pup when he was a baby, but couldn't find.

It will certainly help with socialization. We didn't use one but we are lucky to have a dog park with alot of dogs with great handlers close to our house.
