Harry-X
Thought I would share my friends dog with you guys..
Ok so this is Harry my work college's dog..
He is a Staff cross Pitbull... (So the breeder says)
My polish work college (Daniel) was told when purchasing the dog a year ago that the father of it was a Pitbull and the mother was a Staff.
I called the breeder and pretended to seem interested so that I could find out more and he was adamant that he had a Pitbull.
Now im well aware of the chances of people actually owning pitbulls in England.
Harry does resemble alot of characteristics of some of the pitbulls in Greece though.
Harry is really happy and affectionate and lives with a 3 year old girl who he is great with.
Harry on the down side is extremely playful and boisterous. He's also very powerful and doesnt know his own strength. He gets on with other dogs but has never lived with one.
He is 1 and half years old.
Harry is now up for sale.
THIS IS NOT AN ADVERT.

Re: Harry-X
I hope he finds a home he just needs his energy channeling and they are all playful and exuberant at that age . With Someone who is active he would likely be a totally different dog .

Re: Harry-X
So the guy is now wanting to get rid of Harry for free as his daughter is "allergic".
He keeps saying if no one takes the dog he'll take it to the rescue centre which he can't just do anyway..
Such an idiot.

Nice dog! Definitely staffy cross. Whether it's half pit or not, it's hard to say. There aren't that many around, most of the so called pits are just cross breeds anyway.
Nothing that a bit of training & exercise won't sort out!
Hope he finds a good home.

that may be the casebut he tied to the wheelchair so must have had contact with the desabled person so should still have been trained not to jump.
PS
i know your not defending them

Re: Harry-X
thats my colleges aunt. He tied hard to her so I could snap a picture.. The dog is left to himself in its own room I believe. I'm amazed that its even sociableWarren wrote:Jason wrote:they don't walk him.. And the disabled person isn't his ownerWarren wrote:Caryll wrote:Nice dog! Definitely staffy cross. Re: Harry-X
Update.
So he let the dog go... He just let it out the house to roam the streets.
Police were called and they brought it back to him.
His excuse was that his family were allergic to the dog. FFS!!
Luckily his friend has homed Harry now.

Re: Harry-X
Wow. What a horrible person. Why won't he take him to a rescue centre? Better than just letting him out of the front door. That's disgusting. Glad Harry's in a good home now though
