Harry has to have Gastroscopy

It will be 3 weeks on Wednesday that Harry started regurgitating his food. He has had a scan and been on a tablet daily to reduce his stomach acid plus a tablet to prevent sickness. He started to get really bad acid reflux especially at night when laid down, so he then had antepsin to coat his gullet and tummy which helped a lot and I thought he was improving. All the while he has only been allowed Hills i/d tinned food 4 times a day and nothing else. But yesterday morning he was sick and is quite flat. So tomorrow morning he is going in for the day again to have the camera put down, they will take xrays and biopsies of his gullet, stomach lining and intestines to find out what is causing his gastritis so that they can treat it. The Vet said they don't expect to find anything sinister but I'm still worried. Tomorrow will go by very slowly and then I will have to wait a few days for the lab to send the results of the biopsies before we will know what is wrong. It could be helicobactor pylori.

I'm trying to stay positive and not to let my mind go in to overdrive but its not easy.
