I just thought as it's that time of year to be starting to be tidying our gardens, i don't wish to scare monger but we should all be aware. I have at least 6 of these plants in the fenced off area of my garden and it would be so easy to leave a dafodil/tulip bulb lying around or getting dug up and Cassie thinking it's a toy to play with here is just one of the list available on-line:
There are many house and garden plants that are poisonous to dogs, here are some of the most common ones:
• amaryllis bulbs
• asparagus fern
• azalea
• cyclamen
• daffodil bulbs
• day lilies
• delphiniums
• foxgloves
• hemlock
• hyacinth
• hydrangea
• ivy
• laburnum
• lilies
• lily of the valley
• lupins
• mistletoe
• morning glory
• nightshade
• oleander
• poinsettia
• rhododendron
• rhubarb leaves
• sweet pea
• tulip bulbs
• umbrella plant
• wisteria
• yew
• and some berries, mushrooms and toadstools

If your dog chews or eats any of these, seek veterinary help immediately.

Thanks Dave - it's always worth reminding ourselves of dangerous plants!
