Re: Opinions please
The problem is in my opinion. Even though there are a lot of people who love their Staffords and treat them like royalty, they are also the "breed of choice" for a lot of morons. Also, being a fashion item or status symbol never helps.
People get dogs on a whim without thinking of the long term commitments and then extreme neglect and cruelty subsequently follows.

Some people are horrible. Don't believe first story, man is a liar . Lazy, cruel women in 2nd story, even if they didn't walk the dog they could have fed him. 3rd story so sad that happened about 12 miles from where I live which made it worse poor Lexy. Some people don't deserve their dogs, made me think what the dogs went through

omg this stories are horrible !! and to be honest the man from 2nd story could do something before it happened . For me he was irresponsible if he knew that dog is aggressive and he has kids then he should do something more than just keeping her in the cage .

Re: Opinions please
my opinion would be firstly neither dog deserved what happened. If your dog is DA or aggressive in general then you have a problem and sometimes this may mean re homing through a rescue but to kill your own dog is a horrendous act! Any form of cruelty and neglect is not on and there is no excuse simple as

Re: Opinions please
I don't believe that the guy who killed his own dog had been attacked by her. Many years ago I was attacked by Staff that had been ill treated by its previous owner. I thought i could look after him but he turned and i can assure you that if your Staff attacks you you will not be able to get your hands anywhere near it never mind around its neck! I was Hospitalized but we never gave up on him, eventually found him a new home and he lived to a ripe old age.
Sounds to me like this guy strangled a passive dog.
So sad
