licking

My 8 month old staffy licks other dogs in the mouth, he has always done it and I'm just wondering if this is a querky behaviour of his or is it a staffy thing?

Dogs licking each others mouths is just a normal form of communication for them, they judge other dogs moods this way and also a more submissive dog will do it to a more dominant dog as a way of saying "I'm submitting" It's a normal doggy thing

They also just do it to say Hello..

I read it's a submissive gesture, but I also think it's just a friendly thing because Loki and his friend Buster always lick each other's mouths. It's normal

Ours do it regularly its nothing to worry about

I thought it was just a Staffie thing as Lily licks everything, people, her bed, the sofa when she is allowed on it - I have never had a dog that licks so much
