paw licking
my puppy sometimes licks her paws for quite long periods of time and her paws look pinkish when they should be white. I hear that white vinegar in warm water is good for it if steeped for 5 mins is this true??
i asked the vet and she said it might just be sensitive skin but she dont chew her back paws or anythin.
Please help
thanks

Re: paw licking
Some pooches can get an irritating yeast infection between the toes which causes the licking. Their saliva is staining the fur to turn it a pinky color.
Things u can do. Wipe her Pawz down with a damp cloth after walking her, check carefully between her toes for any debris.
Sudocrem works well for sore paws. But apply it when ur dog is super sleepy or they will just lick it off !
Allergies can cause itching of paws too - as can walking on salt/gritted surfaces in cold weather. ( if walking in grit/salt- wash paws! - the grit is a irritant abc can cause illness)

Re: paw licking
I would try to just discourage it, it can be a habit, if it worsens then try something else Xx
