Re: licking
Haha!! Ah this made me giggle lol they're so weird sometimes! Is the face licking around the mouth? Or just cleaning in general. Max sits on biscuits head a lot.. He's just a bit clumsy.

Re: licking
It seems to be mainly around the eyes so is that just grooming? She doesn't sit on other dogs she just stands over them.

Re: licking
Possibly, face licking when greeting in general is quite a nice behaviour Biscuit is quite submissive sometimes and will lick around mouth and eyes.
What's he body language like when she's standing over them? Tense or relaxed/playing? She's probably playing around, testing the boundaries at that age, but it's not a behaviour to encourage just because it's not much fun when she's an adult doing this (I know, biscuit tries to straddle and hump most dogs and she's almost 20kg!!!) Just correct and call her away when she does this and then reward when she reaches you.

Re: licking
She does its when shes playing, I think its when shes encouraging the other dog to continue playing.

We all get washed by sky, the more we protest the more she gets excited and licks us.
