Re: Walkies
I've tried that but when I go to put the harness and lead on him he goes mental and gets really distressed. He is fine walking with no lead but because of his size and breed people are scared of him. So at the moment I have to take him for a walk at 11pm every night

Re: Walkies
Maybe use a collar instead of a harness.

Re: Walkies
Hi & welcome to the forum.
Any chance of some pics?
Re: the lead, you could try clipping the lead on, treat. Take it off, no treat. Repeat several times. Then same again, but this time hold the lead & stand up for a few seconds & treat. Just build it up from there.

Hi and welcome to the forum from Rocky and me.
Do you have a light weight lead you could just leave attached while he is about the home and garden, just let him drag it behind him, this should get him used to it being there.

Re: Walkies
when i first got romeo he didnt like the collar, harness or the lead or anything on him. what i ended up doing was just leaving it on him and letting him go about his own thing in the house all the time and out side, after a while he didnt care and we went on as normal, i did have a few months with him where he would pull like crazy, but its worked out better for us since he has Show ring training, Romeo now walks happily in either the harness or the collar. this is just my personal exsperiance but it might help with you too.
