Hi everyone, have not posted a message for a long while but do look at the board on a daily basis.need some advice on my little staffie sukie ( 7 months old) we have a problem with her stools, well there are no stools just runs, out of her not every 5 mins but when she needs to go.have taken sukie to the vets last wednesday because there was a small amount of blood in her poo.she has had 2 injections and is on a course of tablets and were back to see the vet on friday.hes put her on a diet of white meat or fish potatoes or rice.we have mainly feed her rice with turkey, but still her stools are no better in fact maybe worse.normally she has burns mini bites and I know there is a lot of rice in burns dog food, could it be that rice maybe the problem.she is in good health alert, playful everything normal apart from the Tunney stuff any ideas thanks.

I had a similar problem with Moo when I got her. Had her health tested for everything.

After advice here I took her off chicken and put her on a solely fish diet and it worked. I hope you get things sorted xx

Maybe try a little scrambled egg with some mashed potato to firm the stool up. Does she have any other treats/biscuits during the day?

Can you get hold of some charcoal biscuits as these will also help with the runny bum, they are black biscuits you would find in say a box of shaped biscuits.

Pets at Home do these bags of biscuits which contain the charcoal ones (the black ones) or I think they are available to buy at the biscuit self selection display:
