Is smartbone safe for puppy
Hey guys, i know alot people hate raw hide for dogs, thats fine. the pet shop sold me a product called Smartbone says its 99% digestable. it was a toss up with that or a bully stick. just looking for something tastey for her to chew on other than dried ears etc.

Hmm that's not good! But they should be easy to get from America.
I had a look at the website for that chew and it looks like any generic chew to me. It would be okay once in a while but I wouldn't overdo it with them. If she really likes to chew get a long perhaps and put something yummy in it?

I wouldn't give anything that's twisted into a shape - they come undone & large pieces can be chewed off and swallowed resulting, possibly, in choking or a blockage.
I'd stick to the bully sticks or a stag bar!

It looks like this chew is made from dried chicken and it also contains fructose which is a sweetener please avoid this product.
Are you able to get hold of a Kong, they are great stuffed and frozen.

Stag bars are great too. Not too sure where you would have to go to get hold of these near you, but this is what they are :

We have a black kong and the zig gives, she loves that, but loses interest whine it's empty. I break the ziggies in half so she doesn't eat the whole thing. We also have a kong tugger for tug of war. And an okra star chew toy thing. I want to get stag bars. Mite have to bring them in from USA. There are lts of different brand stags on amazon, are they created equally?

Try Nylabone, they come in various sizes and flavours, Rolo had them as a pup, he still loves them now. Really great for chewing on and working out teething frustration on... Highly recommend Stag bars too... we order the Extra Large for Bull Breeds online And Marley is totally adorable

Any brand that is 100% stag antler will be fine to give I don't think brand makes a difference.
