When is it safe?
Hi guys just need a bit of info, as I said the other week Katy is having her 1st season. We are now coming up to her 4th week which will start on Friday (thank goodness) Bleeding stopped last week, she's just started to get her appetite back (not sure if that was the season or the heat) She doesn't seem as swollen today but still has big boobs, lot more energy & mischief, so almost back to normal > So what I need to know is when we can get back to normal walks off lead & having fun. I don't want to risk it till I know she's going to be safe. Thanks

Re: When is it safe?
Give it another week and then see how it goes. If possible long line her first and if you see any males about that seem overly interested you can garuntee youll get her back.

Thanks girls, I was going to wait until her 4 weeks was up anyway just to be sure. Was just wondering if there was anyway of knowing for sure that she had finished? We are both getting fed up being on her 30ft long line

Re: When is it safe?
Seasons generally last for 21 days after the first signs. BUT. I used to wait for 28 days after the first signs just to make sure!
