Re: Winalot (tinned)
wet food generally isn't the best because of the enormous water content , any particular reason you want to feed it

I would say Butchers is better than Winalot, but I wouldn't use either!

Re: Winalot (tinned)
The only things that will build her up are good quality food, exercise& nature.
If you want to put weight on her, either get some green tripe or just increase her food a little.

If you want a good food these come recommended
http://staffy-bull-terrier.co.uk/dryfood.html
Also buying online gives you a wider choice, I use www.chemistdirect.co.uk
I do mix a little wet food with her dry as she enjoys it more, but 1 can will do 3 days so it really is just a little

Rocky has Barking Heads with a little cooked chicken added for variety. Just boil some chicken and allow it to cool. He also has lambs liver raw as an occasional treat.

Agree with Caryll, green tripe is great for bulking them up, it's stinky stuff but dogs love it !

If you want to add a wet food - use nature diet or natures menu - no animal derivatives in!

That's a little misleading - meat is an animal derivative!

It's easy to mistake well toned, for skinny !
Fat staffys aren't nice , they aren't a big breed. They are supposed to be lean. If u can see her last rib, shes fine.
All u need to do as a responsible owner is feed her a good quality food x
