Welcome Izzy and Cooper! and yes, it IS just like being a new mum all over again, with the worries that entails.

But our members include a lot of very knowledgable people and they will gladly help if ever you have a problem - just post it!

Ref your current problem - Cooper is still a little young to starve, especially as he still loves his food and is lively. It may just be that his little tummy has just been a bit overloaded for a while. Chicken and/or scrambled egg certainly won't hurt him for a day or two, and the bland diet will help settle his tummy.

If the runny poo carries on for 2 or 3 days on a bland diet then a check at the vet's might help. I don't need to tell you to ensure that Cooper has access to fresh water 24/7 to avoid dehydration.

What do you feed him on normally?

24 hrs is too long for a puppy to go without food

Well if the vanilla treats are new to him, that's maybe what gave him the runs.
