Sick Puppy
Bacchus was reluctant to go for his walk yest. morning, then when out had the squits. Decided to just give him chicken and rice for his breakfast just in case, but he wouldn't eat all day. He just wasn't his usual self all day, very subdued. We had our usual cuddle/snooze on the settee at night then about 10pm he perked up, had some chicken and rice, a short toilet walk then off to bed.
This morning I found he had vomited all his supper and had wet smelly dhiarroea during the night.
Have booked him in to the vet tonight in case he has this bug which is going round. Meanwhile he is feeling sorry for himself and getting lots of cuddles ( which he hates of course).

Poor little guy!
Hopefully the vet will give him something to settle his tum. In the meantime, I'm sure he'll put up with a few extra cuddles here & there!

Re: Sick Puppy
Ella has only ever been sick once as a pup, the first time I picked her up and took her to the vets.
Oddly enough, chicken makes her sick now that she is an adult dog........ ???
She eats a chicken and brown rice kibble dry food, topped up with fish/vegetables; but fresh chicken (cooked or raw) makes her vomit a few hours later.
Hope Bacchus soon recovers and am sure the vet will have something to settle him.

Re: Sick Puppy
really sorry to hear about your sick pup, my Superhans was never keen on walks when he needed the toilet in fact he has only just started toileting out of the garden, so maybe if he has the squits he just wants to stay in a familiar place, has he had any Medicine or worming stuff, my SBT is just as you described after worming - the vet says it is normal to have this reaction, hope he is ok all the best
