I think my Caley is getting a bit bored, she is starting to chew things she never used to bother with before, so I am not sure if its boredom or age (9 months). So, I just wondered what fun indoor things you do with your doggies.

Caley has nearly destroyed most of her toys Big Grin her stag bar is getting worn down, but I am reluctant to buy anything more as she has loads coming for Christmas, so with just over a week to go before she is spoilt rotten I wondered what games I could play with her? any suggestions?

try hiding treats in difficult places around a room then watch as she hunts for them. Also tug of war is fun ant tires them out. Have you a kong or boomer ball? they keep them happy too Smile

Solly loves play fighting with my OH, too rough for me.
Put a ball in an upturned box sometimes it can take a while for them to sort it out. Hide and seek. Traffic cones seem to give hours of pleasure, but make sure they dont eat any bits of plastic. An old football with a hole in it and put a treat inside. this and the traffic cone will wreck your home so best played in the garden. (speaking from experience) Laughing

If your wrapping presents give her the inner tube thing, I blow down it and she goes loopy and then spends the next 10mins destroying it Big Grin

Put a cardboard box in the middle of the room, and stand back. Laughing

Loki's favourite thing right now is sniffing Rolling Eyes so I started getting him into that side of things. Treats and sniffing...how could he possibly not enjoy it? I started just putting a treat on the ground and telling him to find it, and praising him when he found it. Then making it a bit harder to find, so he realised that find it meant start sniffing. And I've been increasing it from there. He loves it Big Grin

Tug-of-war, fetch, plastic bottles filled with water or treats, hide and seek. That's all I can think of.

this weekend, after seeing a suggestion on another page from here, i rolled a load of socks into one sock and tied the end....Oh My Gosh..she went mental and absolutely loved it, she even brought it back to me and dropped it in my lap to throw, she has never done that. I also tried a plastic bottle inside a sock, that lasted 5 minutes, she managed to get through the sock and started to chew the bottle lol
