Sky having her tumour removed..
I took Sky the vets this morning ready for her Op ... If she could talk she would probably say summit like 'Oh crap not here again' !!! ...
You just feel terrible walking home on your own after youv'e left them at the vets when you just wanna comfort her and tell her she'll be fine as Sky isn't the most confident dog an i think i'll take Inca with me when i go to pick her up later ..
Fingers xd the results come back as AOK .... I will keep you all informed on how she goes after her Op

Re: Sky having her tumour removed..
It's awful leaving them there! I know, I've done it often enough with Dempsey - it breaks your heart!
But she'll be fine & hopefully the test results will come back good & no more visits!
When do you pick her up, do you know yet?

Re: Sky having her tumour removed..
Oh guys i am so so so sorry i didn't let you know how it went yesterday as i wasn't able to put me laptop on as Sky wanted to curl up with me on the couch i didn't have the heart to move her.. she would nip out quickly for a widdle but then be straight back in an curled up with me so there was no room for me to sit on me laptop !!.... Really sorry again guys ..
Well the vet said the Op went ok but the wound kept oozing as she was trying to seal it up.. i didn't feel very confident though when i asked the vet if she could tell just by looking at the tumour if it was benign or aggressive as she kind of paused an looked uneasy but then just said 'well not really so lets wait an see what the results come back as' which will take around 10 days she said..
Sky is curled up on the couch now with her big sister (both snoring under their blankets !!..) ... See how she is later to take her out for a stroll
Am i back in the club now guys ... Sorry again for not getting back sooner xx

Sky's comfort has to come before us!
Poor girl, she must feel a bit unsettled. Let's hope the results come back benign & then she won't have to go through it all again! ><

Thanks Caryll ... When Sky was curled up on me last night i kept just looking over at me laptop thinking 'i bet there all on the staffy site wondering how sky is an wondering why i haven't let them know how she is' !!.. But like you say i just wanted to keep her comfortable an let her sleep..
xx
