I have just bought some lambs liver to mix in with the girls' tea. Do I feed it raw or should I cook it if so how please? Big Grin

I'd feed it raw, but Dempsey's fed raw anyway. How much do you have?

I was going to mix it with their Pero. I only bought half a pound as I know it is quite rich Big Grin

i would just give half of that raw or cooked if you cook it in a pan or oven doesnt really matter. We use liver as treats and its cooked Smile

I give liver raw, but don't give to much or you might get bum gravey Smile

I cooked it then gave them half of it, hope its frosty tomorrow re bum gravy!

If you're cooking it is it still recommended to burn it to a crisp. Remember years ago when I use to take my BC to obedience they told me to really kill it as a super charcoaled high value treat and he loved it , in moderation of course , but not tried ours on it at all

just cooking the liver is still fine, that's how a lot of raw feeders get their dogs to eat it. Cooking it well or drying it out completely is good for treats Smile
