New Member & New 8Week Staff Puppy Owner
My name is paul iam from greater manchester uk & new to all this i have an 8wk old brindle & white full pedigree staff we have called him socks lol as he as got 4 white paws can any1 give me any advice 2-3days ago a noticed when he had pooped he was scrapeing is bum along the floor so first thing in mind was worm him as he come from a litter of 7 puppys & mother & father so i did that 2days ago i used bob martin all in one dewormer for small dogs & puppys plus i noticed is poop was slack wernt diarrhea i would say in between so i stopped is dry food ie beta puppy complete & started given him hard boiled egg with just abit of his own dry food mixed in with it or a jacket potato & abit of his dry food mixed in with it lastnight is poop was back 2 normal so started 2 ween him back on his own food and an hour ago i took him in the garden he had a poop and iam back 2 square 1 again meself thinks its the beta puppy complete whats doing it can some one give me some tips please thank you in advance

Thank you i hope so if i have not got it under control by tuesday morning i will seek advise of his vet as i have take him for his first injection

Hi & welcome to the forum.
If he was ok with the egg & potato, but had the runs again when he went back on to his food, then I'd suspect the food doesn't agree with him. Is Beta the food that his breeder was giving him?

Caryll beta puppy complete is what the breeders weened him on to i think its the food i will try him with a dif food see how he goes

Beta puppy food is rubbish. As are bakers, butchers, pedigree chum, wagg etc. May as well feed ur pup mcdonalds burgers !
A good mid range food is Wainwrights from pets at home, hypoallergenic and good for sensitive tums.
IMO switch him straight over to Wainwrights. My pup was on beta when I got him at 8weeks and was in a terrible state. I chucked the beta stuff away n switched him over.

Hi welcome to the forum from me and Duke we are also in Greater Manchester , we feed Duke on Wainwrights with Salmon and find it suits him very well .
