Hi & welcome to the forum.

If he was ok with the egg & potato, but had the runs again when he went back on to his food, then I'd suspect the food doesn't agree with him. Is Beta the food that his breeder was giving him?

Beta puppy food is rubbish. As are bakers, butchers, pedigree chum, wagg etc. May as well feed ur pup mcdonalds burgers !

A good mid range food is Wainwrights from pets at home, hypoallergenic and good for sensitive tums.

IMO switch him straight over to Wainwrights. My pup was on beta when I got him at 8weeks and was in a terrible state. I chucked the beta stuff away n switched him over.

Good luck with it.
