little help for a first time Staff owner
my first time to own this amazing dog! i would really appreciate some tips and suggestions on the following:
1. feeding
2. excercise (walks, spiring poles, etc.)
3. behavior
4. what i need to keep an eye out for
i've been doing some research on my end but i think it would be really better if i heard it from experienced owners like members of this forum instead. there aren't a lot of Staff owners here in my country and and they just define their dogs as pit bulls. they overfeed them, make them dog agressive, crop their ears, etc.

Re: little help for a first time Staff owner
1. Feeding: I personally feed raw about 2-3% of body weight but a growing pup will need about twice that. I give offal and some freeze dried roughage throughout the week as well to suppliment the meat and bones. There are also high quality kibbles out there but personally mine thrives on the raw diet.
2. Gave you what I currently do, but for now playing and walking should be good. I am unsure how old Noa is but she looks pretty young so don't over do it.
3. Staffys will keep you >< and occasionally but it is all worth it. Make sure you do basic obedience training and you can't start too young. This breed needs to be socialized with other dogs and people to keep them well rounded, but you need to get to know your dog and her body language.
4. Keep your eye out for any tramatizing events as Staffys remember for a long time. Also, read through the forum and see what others have done. Don't forget to enjoy it always.

hi there and welcome..
all I can say is that staffys need lots of discipline... lots of exercise and lots of love..and most importantly try to socialize them with as many other dogs and animals etc as you can! yes they will drive you crazy sometimes but they repay you a million times over with their staffy love...nothing like it!!
