staffy proof tennis type balls?
ruby adores tennis balls, however, as expected they usually last between 10-60 seconds before they are crushed to nothing. we thought we had cracked it last week when we bought her a squeeky kong tennis ball, as it was nice and flexible so didnt just crush. it did last longer, approx 20 minutes before the squeeker was out and the ball was in pieces. she loves when we go out in the field with her ball flinger and a tennis ball, but one fling and her fetching it and it wont go into the flinger again as its more of a scrambled squished road kill shaped tennis ball. i think its the fuzzyness of the tennis balls she likes as she has rubber balls and although she will occassionally pick them up and play with them she just doesnt show the same interest and want to play with them. is there such a thing as a staffy proof tennis ball small enough to fit into their mouths? she has a giant tennis ball which is fine but only because she can only just pick it up.

We have the Chuck It balls for Rocky as in the link below, we got them about 18 months a go and they still look as good as new:

The most robust ball she has is a solid rubber thing that the girls school uses for lacross
We also have a frisbee made by petstages, great as an out side toy Xx

Re: staffy proof tennis type balls?
This from Kong is quite bouncy and hard to destroy. My dog can still sink his teeth into it, but so far hasn't been able to take out chunks and I got it 2 months ago - http://www.kongcompany.com/products/for-dogs/rubber-toys/extreme-rubber-toys/extreme-ball/
The cheapest tennis balls I've found are these - http://www.usedtennisballz.com/ - I always take 2. If he starts chewing on 1, then I play with the other, so he stops chewing. Regular play doesn't destroy balls, it's when they stop and chew that balls get destroyed, so try to keep it lively.

You could try street hockey balls. Aengus pretty much ignores any balls, but my last dog was a Cane Corso and he had one that lasted him about 2 years.

Re: staffy proof tennis type balls?
I have to recommend the kong extreme ball as well
http://www.kongcompany.com/products/for-dogs/rubber-toys/extreme-rubber-toys/extreme-ball/
It is durable but also a lot more fun than other balls since it is really bouncy and will bounce on grass as well. my dog loves it and she is generally not that much into games and play.

We use a Gunn and Moore junior cricket ball which is rubber. It has lots of bite marks in it and can be completely flattened in Hiccup's mouth but then it pops back out - has survived for about 4 months now with a good hour and a half of fetch and chase in the park each day.

Re: staffy proof tennis type balls?
Chuck it balls are amazing, I have to take two out as Ledger refuses to drop one but will still chase the other and they are light enough to be used in those cheap ball throwers so you don't get slobbery or muddy hands. He also has a good chew on them when we get home (before I gan get it off him again) and no sign of them being burst

Re: staffy proof tennis type balls?
I can definitely recommend the chuck it ultra ball - medium. They are light, extremely durable and the only reason I have had to buy another couple is that Maisey decided to wander off and lose her's somewhere. Usually Roxie can track any ball down wherever but after 20 mins freezing our bits off decided to leave it for some other lucky dog to find and enjoy.
They are brill.

spoke too soon Chuck it ball has been split but even after a couple more sessions in the park it is still holding its shape and throws just the same in one of the cheap plastic throwers

Re: staffy proof tennis type balls?
Just brought a 2 pack of the chuck it balls and they're pretty good. Zeus has had a good go at them and no sign of any pieces falling out or punctures. I paid £12 for two, a bit dear but if they last, its well worth the money!
