why has chaos stopped growing?

help!

i have a 18 week old staffy and he seems to have stoped growing from about 10 weeks or so people say that he lookes grossed and doesnt look like a full taffy i am curious as when i got him i was told he was a full staffy only his mother was short legged and father long legged some 1 please help!

he very unlikely to be a full staffy there only one type of staffy there no short or long legged

Do not fear, he's a puppy! They grow differently, all ears paws and legs lol Xx

also dogs don't stop growing till 3 year old when they are in the primes

Looks staffy to me..,
At 18wks hes still a wee baby, they grow at different rates. They all go thru a skinny lanky long leg state and then balance out.
So long as he's on good food and exercised well then just enjoy him x

I doubt he is done with growing just yet.... give him some time to fill out completely he will get there

They don't stop growing for quite a while yet. Just that they have different growth spurts and develop at different times.

I'm sure he'll hit a growth spurt in no time

Yeah I agree with all above, Steff at 10weeks didn't even look like she was from the same litter as her brother on size alone, but now she has hit a growth spurt and is catching up

Now they are almost the same size, different pups grow at different rates

he'll ''top out'' at about 9 months.....but he wont be finished developing for a year or so after that.
to early to be worrying just yet.

From the pic he looks fine to me. They are all different. I have three pedigree dogs and all are different sizes (within standard). Don't worry. As long as your boy is eating, playful and going to the bathroom normally, he is fine. They do go through some funky stages.

thanks to all the above, and steff looks alot bigger a wider thn chaos thats the only reason i was concerned chaos's head looks too skinny and legs look too long thats the only reason i was wondering if he was crossed only i was told wen i got him he was full staff at 8-9-10 weeks he was short and stocky not he seems to be getting taller but no wider so looks wierd, lol still love him all the same though haha thanks to all for ur support and help

Actually the old type staffies were short legged.
Anyway all staffies are different. Some are taller and some are stockier.

I know someone who has two staffies from same litter, one is short and stocky, the other one is taller and slimmer.

What did your vet say?

Stop worrying, go to a local staffy show, alot seem quite small now. Kenny's a big boy, but i've seen some as small as 14 inchs

He's still a baby, dont worry, they come in various shapes and sizes

Kenny looked abit leggy at one point, they grow at various rates, heres my boy now

Steffs very narrow and lanky, and like everyone has said he looks Staff in the photo and he will hit growth spurts, but you can never tell this young if they are cross or full or gonna be big or small He is very cute though and he dosen't look too skinny to me..

sorry this is total tosh they dont stop growing in hight for 12/15 months then fill out the next 18months or so its around 3year old before you have your fully grown dog

Bella is 15 months and has been some very strange shapes while growing, all legs, all head, all body lol.
