Puppy toys
Hi I have (yet another probably dumb) question for you all
When buying toys/chews for a Staff puppy are your bog standard puppy toys suitable?
I know Staffs are more destructing of toys etc so would a puppy toy stand up to the job?
I'm thinking Kong toys etc would be more for adult dog with adult teeth and jaws and I wouldn't want to give her something that might hurt her But likewise I don't want to give her puppy things that won't last 2 secs and she'll not have time to enjoy.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
All advice grateful received
PS I am probably coming across like a twit but although we’ve had 2 dogs previously (both from puppies), I never owned a Staff so it’s a whole new ball game.

Re: Puppy toys
My girl has a puppy kong, a lot of rope toys, a puppy tyre and kong frisbee.. Most balls are destroyed pretty quickly.. In saying that though she has a couple of little puppy plush toys that still are in 1 piece and she is very gentle with her favourites but everything else gets destroyed.. Mostly just get a lot of tough chew toys.. And I mean A LOT

Re: Puppy toys
I recommend a Stag Bar, really long lasting and keep them occupied for a while! My 8.5 week pup has a large one which she's fine with! My 14 month old boy has a jumbo one which he's had for a couple of months now.

Re: Puppy toys
Would go with the stag bar too and the puppy Kong, these are both available on Amazon and would have hours of endless entertainment with them.

Re: Puppy toys
We have a first time staffie also ( 16 weeks boy ) and he has a kong, rope toy, stag bar, tennis balls, cow hoof from P@H, which stinks but is his favourite chew and we are contemplating a boomer ball after recommendations on this site. He also has an old pair of slippers which he is allowed to chew. These are slowly disintegrating because they do seem to enjoy at least one thing which they are allowed to totaly destroy.
BTW don't worry about asking dumb questions as everyone on this forum seems glad to help. I've had some invaluable advice here, but don't forget to post lots of pics or you will be constantly harangued by certain moderators ( you know who you are )

Thanks to this wonderful place is already 'found' stags ...
And i didn't know Kong did puppy bits ill have to research some more.
I could possibly be accused of worrying too much, but I just want her to be happy and healthy
And thank-you rueben, nice to think im not alone and being daft lol
